QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree, equivalent technical training, or equivalent work experience.
- Five plus years of programming, systems analysis, or systems administration experience or an equivalent skill.
- Two plus years management or project leadership experience
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments (certifications like Scrum Master or CAPM are a plus).
- Familiarity with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Knowledge of Life Insurance business processes are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Seek feedback and continuously look for ways to reduce inefficiencies and simplify operations.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in planning and guiding development efforts using Agile and DevOps methodologies. Collaborate with team leads and senior managers to ensure deliverables align with timelines, scope, and quality expectations
- Engage with business partners to gather and clarify requirements.
- Translate needs into clear development tasks while contributing to collaborative solution design and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in initiatives to streamline processes, document best practices, and evaluate tools that support performance and team productivity.
- Help resolve technical challenges by supporting issue triage, engaging subject matter experts, and promoting cross-team problem solving. Take the initiative to investigate and contribute to effective solutions.
- Encourage learning by facilitating access to training opportunities and sharing resources. Promote knowledge exchange through informal mentoring, team discussions, and hands-on collaboration.
- Assist in organizing work assignments, tracking progress, and recognizing individual strengths to support cross-training and career development goals in alignment with organizational priorities.
