QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Five or more years marketing experience or group sales experience
- Three or more years of sales management experience preferred
- High energy, self-starter
- Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefits; specifically Group Dental, Vision, Disability and Life products and services
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; professional designations encouraged (CEBS)
- Well organized individual who is able to set priorities
- Strong technical, writing and verbal skills
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit, train, motivate and direct Group Sales Reps and Sales Managers in order to achieve Group’s sales goals.
- Develop and implement a sound overall sales and marketing plan which targets product emphasis, producers and specific geographic areas in order to achieve the Group’s sales and marketing objectives.
- Direct the design, development and introduction of promotional materials, sales contests and marketing campaigns that highlight Group products.
- Manage the Group Sales Department to provide quality service to group clients and retain Group’s in-force business.
- Guides individuals and groups to achieve desired results. Delegates by allocating decision making and other responsibilities appropriately and effectively. Develops subordinates by improving their skills and competencies. Give performance reviews on time and takes an active role in the development of employees
