QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience. A Bachelor's degree with significant experience may also be considered.
- 7 or more years’ experience in multiple domain-specific roles, with 5 or more years in architecture or a senior technical role.
- Proven experience in project management and strategic planning.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, guide, and develop less-experienced team members.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and drive consensus on strategic initiatives.
- A commitment to staying current with emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry trends, and the ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies and best practices as appropriate for the organization.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in the chosen domain of specialization.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure that the domain-specific architecture aligns with the enterprise's mission and core objectives.
- Solution Design: Takes the lead in designing robust, scalable, and business-aligned technology solutions. Collaborates with business analysts to understand requirements and identify optimal technology choices.
- Technical Leadership: Serves as the go-to person for any technical queries related to the solution. Offers technical direction and guidance to development and implementation teams.
- Governance and Compliance: Develop and enforce architectural governance policies, guidelines, and standards that align with enterprise architecture principles.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Regularly interfaces with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and technical teams to ensure that the designed solutions perfectly align with business objectives and integrate seamlessly with the existing architectural landscape.
- Technology Assessment: Evaluate existing technologies and architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Provides cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutions, ensuring optimal ROI. Assists in setting budgets and timelines.
- Risk Management: Identifies and addresses potential risks in the solution architecture, ensuring robust contingency plans are in place.
- Project Leadership: Serve as the architectural lead for projects within the domain specialization.
- R&D: Stay ahead of industry trends by leading research and development initiatives aimed at adopting new technologies or methodologies.
