QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- 12+ years of industry sales and sales management experience
- College undergraduate degree and advanced degree such as MBA, MSFS, MSM
- CLU and ChFC industry designations
- FINRA licenses 6, 63, 26, 65
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of corporate financials, product pricing, and insurance company profitability
- Ability to travel extensively

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the long-term growth of KCL sales by developing and implementing short and long-range distribution strategies and goals.
- Increase new sales by directing the profitable distribution of products consistent with Company policies and strategies.
- Contribute to the development of new products by communicating new product ideas from the field force.
- Guide the achievement of sales growth and targets by implementing effective sales development plans.
- Contribute to the stability of KCL by directing the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of General Agents and field personnel through regional marketing teams and staff.
- Ensure an effective, competent, and well-motivated regional staff by directing their selection, training, and ongoing development.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of the relationship between the field force and Home Office by serving as the key liaison and resolving problems and issues as they arrive.
- Provide leadership of the distribution system in developing registered representatives to represent Sunset Financial Services and the marketing of Kansas City Life’s variable products.
