QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 years Group ancillary insurance experience including Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Accident and Critical Illness required
- Strong management skills – ability to fully utilize available resources to achieve desired objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Well-organized individual, capable of prioritizing multiple project and deadlines while managing their own workload
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guides individuals and groups to achieve desired
results. Delegates by allocating decision making and
other responsibilities appropriately and effectively.
Develops subordinates by improving their skills and
competencies. Gives performance reviews on time and
takes an active role in the development of employees.
Supervise daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
associated with renewal & presale rating processes, train
Group Renewal Specialists on new workflow
procedures and perform ongoing audits. Prepare reports
for Group management & reinsurers.
- Request census data and verification of eligibility(VOE) from policyholders and general agents. Enter plan and census data on all inforce Life, Short and Long Term Disability policies and calculate manual rates
using multiple rating platforms.
- Organize and enter plan and census data on new group
prospects and sold case business, generate manual rates
for all product lines for underwriting review
- Select and gather renewal premium and claim experience information as determined by product and group size. Input renewal rates and update effective
dates and rate guarantee periods in administrative system to ensure timely and accurate billing. Compose renewal letter for distribution to general agent, broker
and policyholder. Reconcile administrative and renewal
information in LINK, the installation record and the
renewal file. Verify accuracy of inforce rates within
LINK. Prepare renewal summary in Excel for
underwriting review
- Coordinate with Sales and Underwriting necessary enhancements to GUS
