QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent work experience preferred; professional designations (CEBS) encouraged
- At least two years of experience in a group sales environment or similar experience
- Thorough knowledge of employee benefits products and markets; knowledge of KCL Group products, services, and procedures are a plus
- Must be organized, high energy, able to set and meet priorities, and a self-starter
- Strong technical, writing, and communications skills
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review quote material for completeness and coordinate the generation of accurate proposals on GPS (Group Proposal System). Distribute proposals and determine eligibility of groups.
- Organize True Group sold case submissions, which includes reviewing and
processing the case as well as communication with brokers and sales reps to obtain any missing information.
- Communicate with and educate agents, brokers, consultants, and third party administrators regarding benefits proposed by Kansas City Life and negotiate any changes needed to assist in the sale of the proposal.
- Review and process all true group change amendments in a timely manner.
- Handle broker/agent service inquiries and assist with resolution.
